A goddess and sorceress, Circe was exiled to the island of Aeaea to spend her days brewing potions with wild herbs and tempting the fates of men. Surrounded by the beauty of teal blue water and sun-drenched rocks, with the fresh ocean air enticing mortals to stop for a while during their journey. Would they be turned to swine or was Circe misunderstood and simply protecting herself? The reader must choose how to interpret the myth.

This fragrance is refreshing, bright, and perfect for summer. Its blend of herbs and aquatic notes are reminiscent of fresh soap, and would be an ideal companion for a relaxing bubble bath. So grab a book and take a soak, but mortals beware the calling of the sea.

USE

Trim wick to 1/4" before each use.
Burn no longer than 2-3 hours at a time.
After use, cover with lid to reduce soot.

Wonderful for anytime

This would definitely do well on the permanent inventory but it’s such a nice treat whenever it’s released. Just a very fresh herbal, soapy scent that somehow translates very well as a summer candle; can be reminiscent of being near the water. That being said it’s definitely a candle that can be used throughout the year; it’s just very fresh and clean and beautiful. Very good throw, it kind of sneaks up on you and then it just permeates the space.

The Perfect Escape

I love Circe's Exile! I had to stock up when it came back. It's one of my favorites from Frostbeard. It's the perfect balance of herbs and ocean scents. It's super unique but doesn't smell manufactured. It's strong but not overpowering. I definitely feel like I'm on an island with Circe!

Cool and refreshing

This is a favorite summer scent, especially in spaces where I like a "clean" smell. It does lean towards a soap smell, which I usually don't enjoy, but the combo here evokes cool, spacious, herbaceous breezes which is really great for hot days. I've used this for a few summers, but am only now reading Circe—I was surprised there's no explicit cedar notes in here since that's so present in the novel, but am enjoying the crisp scent of these wax melts while I read.

Island Vibes

Great mix of florals and herbals, to my nose. Really like the overall freshness of this candle and glad I bought two of the larges ones! If I don't have a chance to burn them before Summer ends, they will keep until the coming year. Thanks for bringing this one back! From the comments, it sounds like it was a favorite of many.

This is a fresh and soapy scent that has nice undertones of rosemary without being too overpowering. It's a perfect candle for spring.
