Trim wick to 1/4" before each use.
Burn no longer than 2-3 hours at a time.

The Great Gatsby may be a tragedy about the American dream, but anyone who’s read the book knows that a Gatsby party was something truly special. We’ve all wanted to hang out at Gatsby’s mansion on a festive night full of champagne, dancing, and fireworks.

In all the fun, we can’t forget that these parties had a wistful purpose. Daisy didn’t show up for months, and the host must have spent a long time on his dock watching the green light on the end of her dock. Our green, daisy-scented candle symbolizes the prominent longing throughout the story, while the profile of champagne, sea mist, and daisies put us right next to Gatsby himself.

I was skeptical at first that the scent would be weak, and it is subtle, but also nuanced and complex. It’s lovely at first and then more and more intoxicating the longer it burns. Reminiscent of Daisy’s voice ‘sounding like money’ (excuse the imprecise quote from memory), the more I burn the candle the more fascinating and satisfying I find it. Definitely a new favorite!
