This one has a nice smell but can get to be a little too much if you burn it for a long time. It does seem to make the room feel lighter though if you burn it in shorter bursts. It's a very fresh scent.
This one reminds me of getting a massage...very relaxing and invigorating. Strongish smell but not overpowering.
This is one that takes you directly to the beach, but not in a sickly sweet way. It's just the right amount of scent in my opinion. Very summery.
This one smells a little too strong for me when it's not lit but when it's burning it's got a really nice spicy cucumber smell. It is very strong though and after a while it's almost overpowering. So I say enjoy it for a short period of time! It is nice and unique though, just very strong.
This one is so refreshing for summer! It's a nice palate cleanser from the beachy smells of the usual summer candle. It's strong enough to enjoy but not so strong that it's overpowering. I like to burn it in the morning in my office while I work. It helps wake me up.
I don’t know how to describe the smell of this one other than “it smells classy.” I feel like this is going to be the one I burn when I want to kick back and read Sense and Sensibility for the 50th time.
Oh my god. All of these smell amazing. I keep getting burned (no pun intended) by online candle shops, so I ordered these with trepidation. All the scents are glorious but Halfling Hills is my new favorite thing ever. I use it in my office so I can pretend I’m a wizened forest witch while I grade things.
I saw some folks complain about the throw but it’s honestly perfect for me. Not too subtle, not so strong it leaves the house smelling like That Mall Candle Shop (ick.)
I no longer garden, but Sam’s Garden brings back such precious memories. It is a most unusual scent, but you have another winner!

Unlike Iocane powder, this candle has a noticeable fragrance. Perfect for summer (or for dreaming of a vacation), it smells like a pirate’s cove, but in a good way.
Tomato vines abound! I haven't found the cucumber note yet, but I'm only 1/8th of the way through this 8 ouncer, and hopefully won't burn through the rest of it too quickly. Looking forward to enjoying the scents of Sam's hard labor this summer.
To my nose, this is a smoky-floral and it is perfect for the bedroom or home office! Medium strength and I think it's great! Another hit!
Beldam's Manor is my new "happy place"! I adore this candle. I'm still new to the Frostbeard family, so I don't know all of your procedures, but please tell me that you will have this scent again!!! I continue to be so happy to have discovered your shop. I prefer to buy from small American businesses. Your products are superb and so is your service. I also really like your Oxford Library scent. I did my post grad at Oxford and worked in one of their libraries. You totally nailed it on that scent! My favorite holiday is Halloween. I can't wait to see what you have for autumn. This is a nice attractive, looking candle. The fragrance is pretty weak though.
Love the book themes and the whimsy. Great scents and long lasting. Best hand poured and made with care
Beldam's Manor definitely had a different smell than I was expecting, and it took some time to warm up to it. But I still really love this scent! It's like sweetness met with a woodsy feel. I don't know what else to say other than I smells like how the Coraline soundtrack sounds. Hope that's helpful!
I wasn’t sure about this one and was glad to smell that it worked out. Fresh without being too sweet for me. Tea doesn’t come through super strongly but it does seem to nicely temper the linen fragrance.
I know they moved this to the spring collection, but this has become a core sense memory for “summer’s here.” Always a pleasure when the hot weather arrives.
