Sherwood Forest - 8 oz Jar

These are still better than my other purchase from another company. Sherwood is not as strong smelling as my halfling hills, oxford library, or old bookstore, but it is very charming. I am trying to decide if I am deep in the forest with Robin Hood, or if my kids and I are going out to cut down our own Christmas tree.

I think Sherwood Forest may become one of my favorite Frostbeard candles. Just perfect for this fall and/or holiday season.

Nicely balanced forest scent that has piney notes without being Christmasy. Very calming.

A nice woodsy scent, moderate smell when melted (wax melts)

I expected this to be a little Christmassy with the pine, but the whole bouquet is a very nice, earthy candle. I'm really enjoying this scent.

I really love this scent but when the wax melts, the scent isn't nearly as strong. Would love it to be stronger, but I really do love this scent!

Love this scent! It's a close second to Faerie Door (similar woodsy fragrance) - will definitely buy again!

This candle smells stronger when unlit, but leaves a nice subtle woodsy scent upon re-entering the room. Definitely for those that enjoy earthier options.

It's classified as Mild, but I think it's stronger than the Old Forest which I also like and smells similar.

My best friend loves Robin Hood so I got one for him for his birthday, and one for myself. It's a woodsy, musky scent--basically what I'd expected. What I didn't expect was that it would be both a lovely summer scent and transition so beautifully to autumn. I adore it. I have a sensitive nose and am always worried the scent will be too much for me when I get a new candle. This has a lighter level of scent than most candles. It is pleasant, noticeable, and comforting, but not overpowering.

I’d definitely become one of Robin Hood’s Merry Men if the woods smelled like this! Recommend if you’re looking for a woodsy scent that doesn’t smell too much like summer and too much like almost-November.

I could close my eyes and inhale and swear I was standing in the middle of a forest with this candle. I love it so much!!

Smells A little strong for me, but I love it. Reminds me of being in the woods. Definitely will be burning around winter time.

I tend to prefer woodsy candles so I was very excited when this came back in stock. This combination of scents is one of my favorites! My only suggestion would be a smidge more cedarwood. Most definitely buying another one.. or two!

I was surprised and delighted by the musk/mysterious notes in this scent that move it beyond just a woodsy smell, into an enveloping and somewhat spicy warm scent. It is very evocative of autumn leaves, walking in a damp woodland in October. I love it

Reminds me so much of a snowy winter day in the forest, but when lit, I don't smell much at all.

Up to this point I mostly had more floral candles and this one is a nice break from the norm. It is well balanced, earthy and moderate in intensity, like I expected it to be. Definitely burning it a lot, even in late summer.

I should know by now that I will love all the forest scents from Frostbeard. They are definitely my jam. This one really transports you to a fictional place you know so well. Really smells like outside. Magical.

Smells as I would expect based on the scent notes and description. Fresh scent and decent throw while burning.

This has a very strong earthy smell. It's heavy on the cedarwood in comparison to the miss and like, but that makes me like it even more! I love the cedar scent! I would definitely buy this again!

I was really attracted to the color, but mine is definitely a sage green, not an intense "forest" green. The scent is very mild, you can't really smell it even after burning a long time. It's burning down very nicely though, no wasted wax on the sides of the jar.

I don't know how to describe this other than that it smells like the woods after a fresh rain. A very interesting scent, one I'll probably buy a bigger candle of if they bring it back again. Can imagine Robin Hood and the merry men when burning this candle.

This reminds me of the fresh air in Scotland. It's like Sassenach wasn't as herbal but more pineyl Great and light scent with a pleasant lingering. Would def get again.

Take the cedarwood from Headmaster's Office, swap out HO's lemony aroma for the herbal scent of Sassenach, and you have Sherwood Forest. It definitely smells like you are wandering around in nature, and would be a good scent for someone who likes green, earthy scents.

It's not an overwhelming scent, but it has a pleasant foresty smell. I will definitely get more if it comes back

I was really excited for this scent but it is underwhelming. I cannot even smell it after burning for a few hours.

This scent is phenomenal. I got the wax melt and am getting back on here to order more before they aren't available again. I'm not sure why this one is not more popular! It's a fantastic forest scent, that starts out medium strength and after a couple of hours fades to mild. The husband likes it too. Win-win!
