Opening the wax melt, this scent just couldn't be more perfect. Warm, light, earthy but fresh, and not sugary sweet. In fact, when i first smelled it, I flashed back to a Winnie the Pooh scratch and sniff sticker i had as a kid and could immediately see a honey pot lying in the grass. It's a really lovely and evocative scent blend. Unfortunately, when I actually melt it, it is practically imperceptible. i trade out my scents daily, so i can tell the difference between scent that lasts all day and scent that never really registers at all. Would love this scent to stick around—just needs the volume turned up a bit.
Bought this candle because Neil Gaiman's Stardust is my favorite book. The scent is so perfect. I love the fresh storm smell. Currently using this one as a backdrop for game nights; will definitely buy this candle again
This is my absolute favorite from Frostbeard! Perfect mellow, bookish scent and also pairs well with many of the other, stronger scents.
Definitely a mild scent, but robust. More ocean/woodsy with a hint of floral.
This candle was sweeter than expected--the lilac really comes through. Mild, but pleasant.
I thought the mahogany element would dominate the candle's overall aroma, and I was pleasantly surprised when the sweeter elements came forward as I was burning it. It provided a balanced, comforting scent to the room. It was not a showstopper in any significant way, but sometimes you just want a scented candle to be a scented candle.
I wasn't sure what to expect but was definitely intrigued with the scent notes. They perfectly balance each other and it is exactly what I would expect Darcy's parlour to smell like. I love how the tobacco isn't an overpowering scent but really complements the wood. It's a perfect rainy day candle.
I love any of the candles with honey scents in them. I find them so comforting. It is a milder scent that I can burn in the spring time that seems fresh but deep at the same time.
I love love love this scent. It reminds of the incense nag champra. It is such a comforting scent to me.
You can smell all the elements individually and I thought they blended fairly evenly in this milder scent.
This candle smells exactly like an incense (no idea which one) I used to burn as a teenager. It really takes me back. Totally hits the nostalgia on the nose.
On cold sniff the candle is exactly what I like since it's seems to be a mix of earthy sweetness but the scent is so mild that I don't smell anything when it's lit.
Buying this one again because I just love it. It manages to be woody and smoky without being incense-y, which is a real feat! The nutmeg is nice, spicy but doesn't go holiday/baked goods.
I struggle with wood smells so this was a gamble, and it's not for me. It goes very incense-y in a way that I don't care for and which becomes cloying with the honey. The brightness the meadow should give was buried under that wood to my nose. Still glad I gave it a try though!
A classic florist's shop type floral, very springy and green and wild-rose forward. Lovely to burn after spring cleaning.
At first I wasn't sure, it smelled sort of cosmetics/shampoo-y to me, but I gave it a try anyway. Once it was burning I absolutely love it! It's more rounded than a lot of springtime scents but doesn't feel heavy. I tend to struggle with anything that has wood smells in it, but the ocean wood notes didn't set that off which was nice.
This is a very pleasant scent. The predominant note is sweet pipe tobacco which is similar to the other frostbeard tobacco scents. Throw is strong with the wax melts and quickly filled up my small office.
I like the way these scents blend. It is similar to Darcy's Parlor but a bit sweeter and I actually like this one better. It is a nice candle to light for getting cozy with a good book.
