Fitzwilliam Darcy, better known simply by his last name, is a prominent character and the main love interest in Jane Austen’s famous novel Pride and Prejudice. Set in the Georgian era, this novel takes readers on a journey of self-discovery. One of the places we physically journey to with the main character, Elizabeth Bennet, is Pemberley, Darcy’s estate. While we don’t know exactly what Darcy’s parlour smelled like at Pemberley, it’s fun to imagine.
Darcy’s favorite chamber is a representation of the man himself: tasteful and refined. Arguably one of the most famous literary characters to come alive on the page, we love imagining what his study at Pemberley would smell like and we think you will too with our Darcy candle.

You can burn this classic candle for over 40 hours if you purchase the 8 oz option, but we offer smaller ones as well. Please note that this is a mild/moderate candle, and even if you burn it for 2–3 hours, the scent will not be as heavy as a strong candle. We believe the mild/moderate scent is best for the parlour atmosphere.

Wax Melt

Wax melts are an easy and flame-free way to fill your space with cozy fragrance. To use, simply place one or two wax cubes into the dish of a wax warmer. Turn the warmer on (if electric) or light a tealight underneath (if using a classic ceramic warmer) and allow the wax to melt. As it melts, it will release its scent into the room.
You can enjoy the fragrance for several hours at a time! Just turn off the warmer when you're done, and the wax will solidify, ready for next time.
When the scent has faded, let the wax cool and harden completely, then remove it from the dish. You can pop it out using a spoon or paper towel, or warm it just enough to pour out the liquid. Dispose of the used wax and wipe the warmer clean before adding a fresh cube. Never add water to your warmer, and always follow the safety instructions that come with your device.
