USE

Trim wick to 1/4" before each use.
Burn no longer than 2-3 hours at a time.
After use, cover with lid to reduce soot.

Where’s the smell???

I got three candles from Frostbeard: Old Books, Bookstore and Reading at the Cafe. All THREE have NO SMELL, even after being burnt for several hours. No room permeation. You can barely even smell the candles up close, lit or unlit. For how much these cost, I expected more. These are literally the most disappointing candles I’ve ever purchased. Ever. Hands down. Beyond disappointing. Spend your money elsewhere.

We use the recommended amount of fragrance oil for 100% soy wax, and do have Old Books marked as a 'mild' fragrance, but it should be give off some aroma so we'd be happy to provide some tips to help.

First time around I thought this didn't smell old enough. Now it's growing on me. I tend towards Frostbeard's musty dusty scents like book cellar and old forest, so had expected that to come through here. Didn't on the first batch I received a while back but this one seems closer to the mark.
