Use

Trim wick to 1/4" before each use.
Burn no longer than 2-3 hours at a time.
After use, cover with lid to reduce soot.

Safety

Burn within sight on heat-resistant surface.
Keep away from kids, pets and all flammable objects.
Discontinue use when 1/2" wax remains.

Perfect Gift

I gave this and Bookstore as a gift to my younger sister and she loved the unique scents. Different from all of the other stuff you find mass produced and just right!

Nice mild scent

While I have nothing to complain about with this candle, I wish it were a bit stronger. It doesn't fill up the room in the way I would like. It had a pleasant smell, though I wouldn't necessarily call it "old books." But I'll definitely use it.

Sadly disappointing

Sorry for this review, I so wanted to enjoy the candle. The truth is that not only was the 'Old Books' scent so faint as to be almost nonexistent (this in a 8 x 10 enclosed room, mind you) the candle lasted a few short hours only (The bottom of the tin called for a 10-hour burn time. If ever there was a false claim it was that. Yikes!). And for some reason the wax went through the tin and pooled on the desktop below. As I couldn't find a leak in the tin I found this behavior bizarre to say the least. Also, while the wick was burning the liquid wax pooling around it threatened to douse the flame and I had to pour the excess into the tin's cover so the flame wouldn't be extinguished. Sorry, Frostbeard Studio. You're going to have to go back to the drawing board on this one. I suspect the others I purchased will do the same. As it is, I spent quite a lot of money on these products, all things considered.

This was originally bought as part of a gift for a friend but I love the smell so much I may keep it and give her something else.
This is a delightful scent to burn while sipping tea and reading your book!
