Wandering Woods - Wax Melts

I absolutely love this candle! Its soft scent is magical and it goes well with a cozy fantasy read. I highly recommend it!

EDIT : Roxie from Team Frostbeard very kindly communicated with me to explain why they didn’t send me a replacement right away. They actually had a problem with receiving e-mails at the time, not their fault at all.

I am happy to say I received my new candle in one piece and it smells amazing! Customer service was great dealing with the situation, and they even wrote a little handwritten message in my package to apologize.

I am very happy with how they resolved this problem, even after all this time, and it is safe to say that you can trust them too! I even placed another order already!

Arrived broken. It’s so damaged I can’t even unscrew the lid to smell it, so I can’t review the scent unfortunately.

I’m very disappointed with customer service as I have tried contacting them 3 times via e-mail and directly on the website about this issue and got no answer. They claim to replace every item that arrives broken but when you try to get one, it’s radio silence.

I’m quite sad about this as it is the first issue I have ever had with them and I really love their candles and their original scents. I know the broken candle is out of their control, but offering good customer service should be.

Beautifully balanced. Scent gently fills the space without being distracting. Any Frostbeard candle with "dirt" in the scent notes evokes the smell of fresh dug earth that consistently grounds the accompanying scents.

I LOVE this candle! It kept me company while putting together this challenging puzzle of a mystic woods. The Old Forest candle made me feel like I was in the woods! My ONLY disappointment in this candle is the scent is so soft I have to put the candle under my nose to smell it. PLEASE make it a little stronger for my next order! I will also try the melts because some folks say the scent is stronger in those. This is a definite repurchase for me!

First off, I love the smell of this candle. It smells like an early morning walk in the woods, but with a fantastical twist. I imagine this candle smells like the Forbidden Forest in Harry Potter would smell like. A wild, rosy smell is definitely the standout scent in the candle.
The candle is listed as mild, but I thought it had a medium/strong scent. That’s fine with me, but if you’re buying for a milder scent then you may be surprised by the heaviness of this candle scent.
I bought the six pack of wax tarts, but melted them down and poured the wax into a teacup with a wick, and it honestly turned out beautifully. I didn’t want a large candle but the smaller candle sizes were unavailable—that’s why I bought tarts.

This smells spicy, clean- like fresh forest air. Easily one of the best candles here

Truthfully this wasn’t my favorite on initial cold sniff. Once I lit it, the notes blended beautifully and the scent throw is as described.

This is one of those truly unique scents that keeps me coming back to Frostbeard candles. It truly smells like being outside.

This will make an excellent Christmas present for my step son who likes wandering in the woods.

Our family has a little party every time we get a new selection of Frostbeard candles. We smell them without reading the name first. This one got a round of "smells like trees." What more could you ask for?

The most amazing scent! Literally smells like a walk in the forest! But that experience is only when you sniff the wax. When its in the wax melter,the fragrance is very weak.

The Old Forest is a wonderful candle reminiscent of a leisurely walk through the woods or a hike in the mountains on an autumn day. The aromas of rosewood, fig, dirt, and spices provide a pleasant ambiance of fresh trees after the rain.

I love these candles and am stocking up on Christmas presents. Thank you so much for making them!

It spelled really bad. We liked the decoration though. Had ordered some before and we didn't like the smell of those either so we gave those away and tried again and they just don't suit us

I liked this waaaay more than I thought I would. I usually don’t do well with “forest” scents but my god is this one so soft and perfect. It’s light in that it overwhelming doesn’t smell like a garden/forest. Honestly it’s perfect, easily one of my favorites for in my office!

It smells so good but it is just too subtle. I usually use the softer Frostbeard candles in my room which works perfectly because it’s a small space. However even in my small bedroom I can just barely smell this one. I’m hoping it gives off more of a scent as it burns down more. I wish this one could occasionally be rotated out with other stronger smelling forest scents like “Deep Dark Woods” or any of their other “greener” candles. I’d still recommend to try it as smells vary from person to person.
