Through the Wardrobe - Wax Melts

Another candle i carefully burned and now it's all gone. I love interplay of the spruce and applewood. I also liked that it took it's time to fill my 1 bedroom apartment with its smell and that it would linger after I blew the candle out. I really hope this candle comes back or goes on to be part of the permanent collection.

This candle takes you back through the wardrobe. It is perfection.

Every candle I've bought has smelled exactly like the inspiration it is named for. Amazing company!

Slowly slipping into slumber,

Ordered 5 of the small $6 candles and paid for that along with shopping costs to the UK. I was so excited about getting them. Took a while before they were dispatched but I can live with that. Same with the delivery to the UK. Next thing I knew I had an email saying there was a problem with my order and that someone would be in touch ASAP. They weren’t. Eventually, after my own digging around, I discovered there were customs to pay. Now I clearly didn’t read the small print properly so that’s my own fault but when I got to the post office to pay I found out the customs charge was £29.10!! That’s more than I paid for the candles in the first place! It either needs to be made clearer that there will be huge customs charges (for such small boxes!) or this problem can be combatted by it being marked as a gift before being shipped. The candles do smell nice but are really tiny, the lids don’t stay on the tins and the smell doesn’t permeate around the room as I would have liked. Cute candles but a lot of work to be done on the whole shipping process and on the candles I think.

This is such a great candle with a soothing scent. It isn't overpowering, nor does it smell manufactured. Lovely!

As soon as I opened the lid I got an endorphin boost from this candle! The apple scent is sweet and comforting and just right blended with the spruce, gently muted by snow. Delightful winter scent!

Even though this seems to be more of a winter scent, I think this will work perfectly for transition into the spring!

Smells just like I'd imagine Narnia when the Pevensie siblings first cross through the wardrobe.

This scent has a weak throw, especially considering it smells fairly strong when it's cold. That being said, I love the balance of the woodsy and sweet aromas and think it works especially well as a candle to burn in the winter. I just wish it was stronger!

The woodsy spruce smell combines well with the sweeter notes of applewood and the freshness of snow. The aroma is pleasant and not overly aggressive, as one might expect from spruce. I enjoy this candle for its background, workaday scent. It's not exceptional, but it is something I would enjoy burning on any given day while working, reading, or doing housework.

I had been wanting this candle for awhile, but somehow always missed it before it sold out. I finally got my hands on it and I am not disappointed. It's a very fresh scent, like opening a window on a balmy winter day. It's light and not overpowering. It's a nice balance to have in addition to the stronger, bolder winter scents which I also love.

I opened this candle and was immediately transported to the lamppost waiting for Mr. Tumnus. The spruce and applewood give it the winter woods scent and the 'snow' gives it the hint of magic that would permeate every inch of Narnia. I cannot say enough good things about this candle - the entire room is full of the scent, even when unlit. Even the color of the candle makes me think of Edmund and the White Witch eating Turkish Delight.

This is a nice, fresh smelling winter candle. I love the balance between the different scents. But I wish it was stronger and had more staying power. You can smell it when it's burning but I feel like just barely.

Like the description on the candle, the scent strength is very mild. That being said, I do love this one! the scent itself is clean and light, and sooo nice. The chronicles of Narnia is very nostalgic for me and my mom and we were both so happy to get this candle. If you're a fan of lighter scents, go for this one!

Bright, pleasant, and my kids love this scent.

This scent is quite light for my sense of smell which is nice when I have a headache. I find it calming.

This candle smells like Christmas-y woods. It smells like trees in a forest, but there's also a warm, cinnamon-y smell that reminds me of Christmas. It's such a great, yummy, comforting candle, perfect for winter and re-reading The Chronicles of Narnia. Recommended.

This scent is familiar, like maybe a soap or bubble bath from years ago? Can't put my finger on it but it's pleasant. Crisp, wintry, clean scent. Love it.

The smell is very true to description. It’s a little musty without being too heady.

This is a great, crisp scent that definitely feels super wintry, but with an undertone of adventure.

This is my second time buying this scent. I first ordered the 4 oz tin and loved it so much. I decided to get the 8 oz jar this time around and don’t regret it.

Soft, sweet smell. I really like this candle, although it does faintly bring back memories of the vaguely cinnamon-y stuff they use to get impressions at the orthodontist’s office.... Nevertheless! ‘Tis a good candle.

When I first smelled this candle unlit, I instantly thought of mothballs which made me hesitant but also very impressed because a wardrobe would indeed have mothballs in it! But then when I lit the candle, the actual scent reminded me more of a clean, laundry scent. I loved how clean it made my room smell.

I was so happy to see this one back in stock! This is one of my favorite scents. I can practically see Mr. Tumnus in the snow and woods. The Applewood and spruce is just spicy enough and the snow so crisp and light.

This is a calming, cool, frosty scent that is really enchanting. However, the applewood reads more appley than I like for winter, so I'm going to save it as a Christmastime candle. It's a gentle, soothing, wintery frost scent, with the subtle sweet warmth of the applewood. Although it doesn't feel January-enough for me, I'm really looking forward to using it next December.
