Smells just like a rainstorm! I've always been happy with my Frostbeard candles. The scents are on point and the candles burn for sooo long.

I’ve bought this one multiple times for a reason. It’s refreshing and perfect for the rainy day lover.

I know they moved this to the spring collection, but this has become a core sense memory for “summer’s here.” Always a pleasure when the hot weather arrives.

This smells nice and true to its description but it is a very weak candle. Even in my small bedroom it doesn’t offer much. I do love it though and will keep trying it in different rooms around my house.

This is a tricky scent - it’s really interesting, but becomes overwhelming soon. Kind of like a charged storm, I suppose!

I absolutely love the scent. But it's the same problem Ive had with most of their candles and as such won't be ordering from them again. I can't smell the candle after Ive lit it. And this is a really small room (maybe 100 sq ft.). I'm looking for a strong candle scent and this just didnt come close.

I wasn't sure if someone would really be able to recreate petrichor in a candle, but by God they've done it! This is my favorite candle to burn on rainy summer days.

Very fresh! Can have it burning for long periods and not get overwhelmed

The unlit candle has a captivating smell, but once lit, it just smells like a candle your grandmother might have.

I would say the actual smell doesn't match the description on the jar.

Last time I got this as a candle, this time I got the wax melts. One of my favorite "fresh" scents!

I don't know what chasm stone is supposed to smell like, and I don't get Petrichor or rain but this is a lovely, pleasant scent that is not too heavy or overbearing. If anything, its the lightest scent I've had so far, not strong at all.

I really wanted this to be my new favorite candle because I enjoy the Stormlight Archive so much (would LOVE to see more scents from the Cosmere). To me, it smells like ocean-scented soap (that blue liquid soap that smells, regardless of brand, sort of like artificial flowers but always has pictures of waves and shells on it). I was looking forward to something like water on rock on the shattered plain. But I prefer my Jurassic Jungle and Old Forest candles. Those deliver better on an "earthy" scent. Still giving it four stars for the theming and a nice scent (albeit not the scent I expected).

Its not as rainy smelling as I had hoped, but its very pleasant and gives the room a subtle outdoorsy smell, that is relaxing and soothing

I bought this candle based on the described scents AND, being a book lover who likes a candle burning while I read, I was excited to have this one burning. When it arrived, I patiently waited for bed time so I could burn it and read. However, it did not give enough scent to be noticed in my small bedroom, doors closed. I decided to try it at my work deak (small room) but if I didn't know the candle was burning, I wouldn't have noticed it. I had to get close to it and purposely smell it to get any fragrance. It's a great candle as far as clean burning and its scent, but the scent was undetectable.

Another repeat favorite buy. Smells like a storm brewing.. fresh and charged and perfect to burn on a rainy day or a day that could use some rain.

A complex scent that certainly embodies the coziness of a summer storm that breaks the heat and releases the aroma of nature for a fleeting moment.

I thought this candle smelled really nice and fresh. I think my expectations were too high with hoping it would smell closer to real rain smell though.

Highstorm reminds me of stepping out into a rain soaked town of old. The scent still hanging in the air and on the stones. Very strong scent, maybe a bit too strong though. I hope the throw is more subtle, but that is yet to be seen (smelled?). Still like it a lot though.

This smells like fresh rain on stones. It's not terribly strong, but it's nice if you're in a small room.
