Meet Old Books’s mustier, more sophisticated grandpa. Book Cellar is a little bit earthier, a little less sweet and every bit as charming. Rich and loamy with soft hints of vanilla bean, this candle smells just like the kind of magic found only in an antiquarian’s book collection.
Each item is poured by hand at our Minneapolis shop.
Wax melts are an easy and flame-free way to fill your space with cozy fragrance. To use, simply place one or two wax cubes into the dish of a wax warmer. Turn the warmer on (if electric) or light a tealight underneath (if using a classic ceramic warmer) and allow the wax to melt. As it melts, it will release its scent into the room.
You can enjoy the fragrance for several hours at a time! Just turn off the warmer when you're done, and the wax will solidify, ready for next time.
When the scent has faded, let the wax cool and harden completely, then remove it from the dish. You can pop it out using a spoon or paper towel, or warm it just enough to pour out the liquid. Dispose of the used wax and wipe the warmer clean before adding a fresh cube. Never add water to your warmer, and always follow the safety instructions that come with your device.
Processing time is usually 1-2 days and shipping time is determined by your choice of postage at checkout.

Im not usually a fan of the candlea with "dirt" scent in them. But I do love a basement smell so of course I'll give it a try! I have not burned it yet, but the smell certainly does remind me of a basement!

Not very fragrant at all. Does not fill the house or even a room like the other candles Inhave bought from Frostbeard. Disappointed to say the least.
It does smell like a book cellar--even the dirt and basement part--but in a good way!! It feels like just like going down into the cellar to get something you love. I found it to be a very comforting scent.
Candles are heavy and fragile, but we're great at packaging them up safely. If any item breaks in the mail, we'll replace it for free.
