Halfling Hills - 8 oz Jar

I’ve bought a lot from Frostbeard and this one is probably the most true to smell. It has a very “green” smell like grass with the bitter sweet of tobacco. I keep this one in my office!

I came across Frostbeard on instagram and loved that they took some of my favorite books and made candle scents for them, I just HAD to try them! I am a huge LOTR fan so naturally decided on this scent (along with many others) and I am not disappointed. This candle smells amazing! It gives my office a relaxing vibe to it which has come in handy during these work from home times. All of the scents work really well together and is just the right strength to where I smell it but its not overpowering. I just also love looking at them and reminded of the fandoms that I love so much! I can't wait to burn my other ones!

I love this one. It's tangy, herbal, floral... All those good things. Nice scent throw and a cheery bright green color.

These candles have been a pleasure to light up while reading. I have purchased more for gifts to my reading friends and family. I also bought a couple more for me. "Reading at the Cafe" and "Hafling Hills" are my favorites.

The Shire candle is one of my favorite candles EVER. It gives off that perfect mix of outdoors and cologne smell. If I had to compare it to a moment in the movie it would be the scene where Bilbo and Gandalf are smoking their pipes and blowing fantastic shapes under the night sky waiting for Bilbos party. ABSOLUTELY would buy again and again

This was my first order from Frostbeard Studio, and I am completely satisfied. The shire makes my whole house smell so lovely. I will definitely be ordering lots of products in the future, I am hooked !

Being a massive Tolkien fan, I've always wanted to try this one. The Shire is quite close to what I'd always imagined Bag End to smell like (with some extra pipe-weed essences). I found it very soothing and a perfect accompaniment to a Fall Lord of The Rings re-reread!

Wonderful, light, summery scent! Aloe is the most potent scent of this candle and I love my house smelling like this candle. My husband loves J.R.R. Tolkien especially so he was so excited to get it and we weren't disappointed!

My favorite candle, I have this by my desk and my reading chair. Get tremendous urges for seed cake and pipe weed when I smell it's homey, spicy scent! Have given it as a gift several times as well.

Perfect candle for a spring morning. The earthy/greenery smell is nicely complimented by a subtle tobacco undertone. One of my Frostbeard favorites!

Love the fresh/clean smell of this candle! The three scents go together very well and make me feel calm. The sweetness of the pipe tobacco smooths out the moss and clover. I have been enjoying this one in the summer.

Very nice spring/summer scent. Makes me think of lying in the grass on a warm breezy day. The pipe tobacco adds a little something extra that makes this candie extra relaxing.

I'm a life-long non-smoker, but I have alway enjoyed the smell of a pipe. The tobacco notes in this candle are comforting, not overwhelming, and the woodsy smell, does make me imagine a story-telling night in a hobbit hole. Perfect fragrance for a night of reading!

For me, this is a better version of the similar Sherlock's Study. It has the nice tang of tobacco that S's Study has, but the other layers of the scent are warm and outdoorsy. There's an underlying sweetness to it that I like. It's definitely a spring/summer scent.

Candle scents are often hit or miss for me, especially buying online. I started with a collection of 10 assorted 2oz candles just to try them out. I loved almost all of them. Maybe 2 were ok, but not entirely for me. I placed a second order for 5 full sized. I would have bought more but my budget limited me. I think a lot of these would make excellent gifts.

This is definitely one of my favorites of which there are many! The tobacco scent is pleasant not overpowering. I am a repeat customer of Halfling Hills.

I expected a greener, more grassy scent. But the honey-sweetness of the clover is delightful, and rounds off the subtle pipe tobacco. I would like it to be stronger, but it does bring to mind sitting on a hill with a wizard.

Love the freshness of the clover and moss, while the coziness of the pipe tobacco makes it very homey.

This might be my favorite scent from Frostbeard. Smokey, earthy, and cozy. Seems like no matter what, this is the right choice for any mood.

I love the scent, but when it's lit, I dont really smell it unless I stick my face right over it.

First, this is a high quality melt. It melted very evenly and had a pretty full smell in my office. My office mates all said it smelled great. Better delivery than other brands I have purchased.

My only dissatisfier was the scent. When I smell it, I don't feel like I am in the shire. I have been eyeing this scent for a month. I guess I thought it would be more earth and grassy. I feel like I am back in college taking a shower. Its not a bad smell. Just I could imagine this smell while I am soaping up my toddler in his bubble bath with his rubber ducky. This is not gardening with Samwise or taking a stroll with Frodo.

This one is for my partner who is an avid Tolkien fan.
