A Series of Fortunate Scents - 8 oz Jar

Great product! Smelled the same burning and not. It was a gift for my wife and she was able to smell all of the listed fragrances on the description. When we lit the candle it filled the room quickly and it was a great subtle smell that you catch every once in a while. She loves it! She normally doesn't like floral smells but it's a great balance so I call that a win.

This one has a mild lemony fresh scent that is nice and clean smelling. Sometimes the violet comes through too, a soft floral scent. I didn't detect the money scent though. It's hard to smell it unless you're right up on it though. Not a very strong throw but I burn it on my desk while I work so I can enjoy it up close.

Lemon & floral combo that smells like a million bucks! Haven't burned it yet but to my nose this is a medium strength, joyful scent that would be perfect for small to medium sized rooms. Every nose is different, so yours may tell you a different story. Very glad I purchased several.

I like the nice light and clean scent provided while this candle is burning. The lemon is fresh and bright and blends nicely with the other aspects.

This is a candle with a very sharp lemon smell. A scent that would make you think of “clean” but not a scent that you would relax with; it’s very energizing. Think of how a traditional margarita would smell if you put your nose right up to it. It wasn’t my favorite but if lemon floats your boat you might like it. Also, the color of this candle is beautiful. Really a beautiful green that mimics the color of money very precisely.

A light lemon scent without an artificial undertone. Very enjoyable!

Sweet, lemony money. Has a good throw. Very pleasant scent. We had a skunk spray in the yard which permeated into the house and this covered up the stank nicely.

the refreshing grassy and floral notes mingle perfectly with freshly printed definitely-not-counterfeit money and a tinge of foreboding…on second thought, the foreboding might not be from the candle. Carry on! 10/10 candle

This one was so good! Not too sweet and very lemony. The perfect late summer scent!

Lemon is the dominant scent with a hint of the floral. I like that this is not overly sweet smelling. Really enjoying this fresh scent for summer1

At first, I didn't know what to expect, but this scent is AMAZING. Lemon Verbana is the primary scent, the others are more subtle and it is so clean and refreshing.

I absolutely loved this candle, didn’t really know what to expect from the scent but it exceeded all of my expectations... and it sits among my collection of Frostbeard jars on my bookshelf!

HOW does something smell like money?! BUT IT DOES.

This is a wonderful candle! It smells like how A Series of Unfortunate Events feels! It seems like a strange combination of sents but it really works. It also is strong enough to fill a room.

Although the world may be full of unfortunate smelling candles, this one stands far above the rest. I love it!

I am so happy I purchased this candle. A Series of Unfortunate Events were my books as a child. The lemony, eery scent brought me back to how I felt when reading the books. Highly recommend!

Smells absolutely amazing! Definitely takes me to the place I want to be while reading the books with it. You can smell all the notes of all the scents you said were added. Definitely happy!

The scent combination here is sort of unusual but really lovely, and you can definitely tell what the literary influences were! I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough, but I thought the scent strength was good and given enough time, it will fill a room! A nice candle with a great theme-I hope they bring it back!

Although this isn't my favorite Frostbeard scent, it is definitely up there. What I find interesting is the degree of difference in how people smell this. To me, the dominant scent is the verbena, with strong undertones of violet and lemon. The money is there, but it's more of a delicate afterthought, and really only noticeable if you're looking for it. On the whole, this is a perfect spring-time scent-- fresh, clean, bright, and in general invigorating. I find the scent throw on this to be stronger than some Frostbeard scents, but not too strong-- if I burn it in my bedroom, the smell pretty much stays in the room, even if I have the door open. I have not burned it in an open concept area of my house, but I assume that it would probably stay in one area pretty well.

The smell of this one. So good. If I could I would buy 4 more and 2 tarts. I love the scent and the title. I'm so buying more as soon as possible.

Love the sweet, light lemon in this. My boyfriend doesn't like the heavier scents like The Shire but he loves this one!

This scent combination sounds strange on paper - violet, lemon, and money, but I'm glad I took a chance. It's amazing! Lightly floral and very fresh thanks to the lemon notes, it's my all-time favorite candle. I wish I could make everything in my life smell this good!

Really enjoying this scent! It's quite floral with a little bit of green herbal scent. Personally, the strength is about perfect for me, but I don't like anything too strong. Very happy.

I wasn't too sure about the scent combination when I ordered the candle. I was pleasantly surprised! I hope these get re-stocked.

I really like the Series of Fortunate Scents candle. I'm not usually a fan of "fruity" smells, but this one is great, not over-powering, and makes the room smell nice and clean.

A Series of Unfortunate Events was one of my favorite book series growing up, so I was so excited when Frostbeard came out with this candle! The candle has a strong sweet lemon scent that's divine, and a slightly floral undertone. I love it!

This scent reminds me of spring. The "dominant" scent is violets while the lemon is slightly subtler but adds an air of 'clean' to the mix. The money reminds me of linens or parchment a bit. Overall it is a relaxing scent. As for the throw of the scent, it is mild and stays localized to one area (so for connected rooms the scent will stay in the main room where the candle or tart is).
