Reading at the Cafe® - 8 oz Jar

Reading At The Cafe is my all-time FAVORITE candle scent! I keep one on my desk, one by my recliner, and one in the kitchen. This mix of coffee and sweet chocolate pastry scents are perfect. It both energizes and relaxes me - amazing. I never let myself run out of this candle in every size.

I have this candle sitting open and not burning on my desk at work. It makes the space feel so warm and cozy. Absolutely one of my favorite scents. Even more fragrance when burned!!!

Delicious. Holly H. below is right on in her description of the scent, "The chocolate makes it sweet, but it really does have a floury pastry smell. It's also cut by the bitterness of the coffee, which keeps the candle from becoming cloying."

Working from home it's a lovely luxury to have a delicious candle burning at ALL times.

I love this so much that I just bought 4 x 8oz. jars. I will buy this forever and ever.

Thank you so much Frostbeard for giving me something lovely to look forward to every day. It encourages my deep breathing practice to combat anxiety, bonus.

I found Frostbeard on Instagram and I’m so happy about that. The order I placed came the same week! I got a few candles but Reading at the Cafe was the first one I burned and it smelled so delicious. The candle has a great throw for the scent. I’m impressed and since my first order, have joined their subscription box and bought candles for friends too.

Got this for my niece, president of her Kansas City, Mo chapter of the “Tolkien Society.

I love these candles. I stumbled upon them while looking for a gift for a fellow booklover and have come back to order again, this time just for me. As an international (European) customer, I love the mini 2oz tins which give me the opportunity of sampling several different scents in one order and still be absolutely affordable. The orders always arrive fast and safely packaged. Definitely will be back again!

So happy with my purchase! Ordered 3 lil candles and they shipped super fast, and they smell amazing! Love the tins too. Thanks so much!

This candle smells like the most cozy coffee shop that always has fresh baked pastries! Amazing product AND amazing customer service!

If I had to pick a favorite Frost Beard candle, this one would be the winner. Smells absolutely delicious! It is strong enough without being overly sweet.
And as a bonus, my kitchen has been seeing a lot more action since I can't fight off the desire to bake every time I light this candle.

Love love the scent! I will buy a bigger size next time!

I don’t normally like chocolate scented things because they usually smell artificial, but the blend of coffee and chocolate in this candle is perfect!

Absolutely the best candle I have smelled in a long time. I have given this one to quite a few of my friends.

This was a favorite of my fiance's sample, so I got a full-size candle for her. It smells like mocha, which is one of her favorite beverages! Thank you!

This is a candle that I have reordered multiple times because it is just that fantastic. I have a small “library” in my house that I spends loads of time reading in. This candle just makes it feel like a cozy cafe. I highly recommend!

A delicious scent of coffee and chocolate. A great combination.

I am a big fan of Frostbeard candles. Clean burning and the scents. This one! Coffee and chocolate is heavenly!

My favorite bookstore closed several years ago but the memories of time spent there is such a part of me. The cafe, the smell of books, of coffee, of baked goods. This candle brings the happiest of memories. The scent is lovely.

I love cozying up in my library corner with one of these lovely candles, my cat, and a book. I love that Frostbeard is local to my brother's family and that the care about their neighbors and the small business community in Minneapolis.

The scent of chocolate and coffee surrounded me within a few moments of lighting this candle. Perfect for relaxation, even if I couldn't read at that moment.
The tin is attractive. The wick is thick and everything burned clean. A bit of smoke when I blew the candle out but even that smelled fantastic.

One of my favorites. Long lasting scent that is sure to please. If you like chocolate and coffee, this is your candle! Lovely

I was a bit disappointed with this one. It sounds like it will smell great, but the scent was very underwhelming. I think if they decreased the chocolate and increased the coffee it would be perfect. But that's just my opinion. Others may love it as is.

Haven't tried lighting this candle yet, but the scent is absolutely heavenly! Just the right mix of coffee and chocolate smells.

Everything I have purchased from Frostbeard I have loved, and this sweet smelling candle is no exception!

My second favorite scent behind the Inklings! This is my go-to gift for family and friends

Well, there was a crack around the lid and some of the candle kind of melted out. I’m gonna try to still use it, but I was pretty unhappy that it arrived in that state.

This is my second time purchasing Reading at the Cafe. I'm not a coffee drinker, but this candle smells like a cozy bookstore. Perfect for my work desk!

I have this just sitting open at my desk, not even burning and it smells amazing!!! Love it!
