Oxford Library® - 8 oz Jar

This is my second "batch" of Frostbeard candles. I would have a hard time choosing a favorite, but I really like Oxford Library. Or Babylon Candle. Or Darcy's Parlour. :) I just love that fact that these put out a good amount of scent, but smell.....interesting. Not full of fake perfumey, fruity strangeness. I have another batch on the way and I can't wait to see what those will be. And every single one so far, burns perfectly and for a very long time.

If you love the smell of leather as much as I do, Oxford Library is a MUST HAVE in your candle library! The leather fragrance is the primary scent and when balanced with the sandalwood and oak, it smells just like an English estate library should. I always have to have this candle on hand. In fact…time to reorder! I am so happy it is a permanent fragrance for Frostbeard, and it has made a repeat customer out of me!

This is STRONG. This was a gift for Father’s Day. My dad burned through it in a month and we could smell it through out the entire house. Nice clean smell and STRONG.

I am a first time customer who loves strongly scented candles (our old farmhouse needs those) and prefer a more earthy/masculine/ deeper kind of scent blends. Oxford Library has a 'fresh' paper-ish (to my nose) element that comes out first before the deeper leather notes, and of the four scents I tried this one is my hands-down favorite... (for now) as well as having the strongest throw. A wonderful complex scent that I would love to smell in every room of our home.... every day.

This is definitely one of the best candles from Frostbeard, up there with Bookstore (and that is by far my favorite). The oak and leather are heavy in this, with a light sweetness of sandalwood. This candle is just a standard of any library or study.

This was my first purchase from Frostbeard Studio and I am absolutely in LOVE. My only problem now is to decide which scent I should choose next!

These candles are amazing! The bookish theme is delightful, and the scents are enchanting. Absolutely smitten with this candle! The scent is a perfect combination of freshness with hues of library books. I spend quite a bit of time in libraries and every book has a scent of someone's home plus their fragrance. This candle captures that very essence. Even my two young sons can't get enough.

I love the smell of leather. It's light, clean and provides the perfect ambiance for reading. This tart does just that. It's not overwhelming, and smells just like leather and parchment. I have been burning it since I got it and the smell is lasting and it's not burning away too quickly. The shipping was lightning fast and it was packaged very well preventing damage. I can't recommend this product or shop enough. Can't wait to buy this scent in a kcandle next. Thanks Frostbeard Studio!

I believe this was your 1st candle produced! It was my 1st. purchase but not my last it invites me to explore and find the scent that returns me to the Schenectady, NY library where dad took me on Friday evenings. I sat in the children’s section reading and smelling friendly scented soft old yellowed pages that invited explorations of new horizons while in the comforting warmth of a safe place. .
“Oxford Library” was a little too new smelling. but living in St.Paul puts me in your neighborhood so a retail store visit where I can sniff is in order. I rad daily for an hour and your candles burn like incense, wafting me off to my comforting safe place where my 73 year old soul becomes like a wondrous little boy again!
