Scents: Rosemary Sage, Cocoa Cake
Scent Throw: Strong
Burn Time: 40+ hours
Container: 8oz recycled glass jar
Materials: Soy wax with cotton wick
Origin: Hand-poured in Minneapolis, MN

Rosemary and sage drift through the air like bundles drying above the counter, giving Owens’ Apothecary its fresh, green, herbal character. A subtle cocoa cake note adds warmth and comfort underneath, sweet enough to feel cozy without turning the fragrance into a heavy dessert scent. It feels like the kind of neighborhood shop where tea, tinctures, and questionable love advice are all available if you know who to ask.

The 8oz jar offers the strongest version of this fragrance, filling larger rooms with a cozy blend of garden herbs and gentle sweetness. Light it while reading, baking, or pretending your kitchen is also a small family-run spell shop with excellent dessert.

Hand-poured with soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance oils, Owens’ Apothecary brings a little comfort and mischief to your space. It is made for readers who believe the right story, the right scent, and maybe a slice of chocolate cake can make life feel a bit more enchanted.

Candle Size: 8oz Jar

Our signature 8oz recycled glass jar offers 40+ hours of burn time. Perfect for living rooms, home libraries, and long reading sessions when you want to settle in and stay awhile.

Thanks, Frostbeard!

Great scent, good color. I also really appreciate Frostbeard’s customer service: my first candle melted in transit and Frostbeard quickly sent a free replacement with no hassle at all!

Owens Apothecary

This is such a magical, fresh scent that just makes me smile.

Whimsical

Just the right amount of chocolate and herbs in this well balanced and fun scent.

The vivid purple looks great on my coffee table as well.

This one needs to be permanent!!!!

This is the best scent I have ever found that truly blends a nice, herbal scent with a cozy bakery scent! This one has replaced Reading in the Cafe for me as my cozy rainy day (or any time!) favourite! I vote for this one to be permanent!!!! I will definitely buy several more !

Practical Magic vibes achieved!

I love this candle. The color and the scent are just wonderful. It's like I'm in the Owens's home, and I love it.

it's a little heavier on the cocoa cake than the rosemary sage but it's delightful and i can't wait to burn it!
