Monster Hunter - 8 oz Jar

I wasn’t sure what Birch smells like but I’m a sucker for any of the moss candles and I adore lilac, so I had to try this one. I am super happy with it and huff it even when it’s not burning! The tree smell is similar to what you would find in a winter candle, but combined with the other scents it is distinctly springy. I can picture myself deep in the woods, with a gentle breeze that brings the smells of flowers. Part of me wishes the lilac was stronger (I just love lilac) but as usual, the different notes are all super well balanced. Gentle throw but I burn it on my desk during work so it’s perfect.

It smells great and it’s a great addition to my bookshelf!

The scent of this candle is delicate, mostly floral but not overpoweringly so. It's labelled as a mild/moderate scent, so I wasn't expecting much throw, but after about an hour of burning (wax pool just reaching the edge of the 4oz tin), I found the scent had pretty much filled my bedroom, even with a window open on the other side of the room. I was surprised and pleased.

I'm not sure what monster I'm hunting, but this candle is giving me "mossman" vibes. ;) Damp, woody and definately sexy.

I bought this candle for myself, and for a friend who is undergoing medical treatment for a serious condition. Its scent is light and pleasant, offering us both comfort in a difficult time. Lovely.

I love this scent - the combo of natural tree scents and florals is not overwhelming and makes me feel like I’m roaming in a mossy forest.

Super unique scent that I wasn't sure I would like but I did! The lilac is very fragrant and strong. This is another lovely seasonal scent.

Woodsy and balanced.

I love this scent so much. It's one of my favorites. It woodsy with a nice floral note to balance it out. Not too earthy either. A very nice pairing of scents.

Wonderful scent for springtime. I’ve always loved lilac, and this makes me smile. Burns well, too!

Delicate balance of floral and earthy. Wish it were a bit stronger to really fill the area but it can still be detected in the room.

This is probably my favorite scent all year. I love how the floral scent is balanced by the birch and moss. I always stock up when this one comes back in stock because I burn it year round.

I ordered the wax melts in this scent and was pleasantly surprised. I don't typically care for floral or food scents but the reviews by others made me want to try it. I'm glad I did! The lilac is the main note and is very delicate. It doesn't have the sharpness other lilac scents have. I read others talk about a pine-y note in this scent but I didn't get that, rather just a nice soft earthy note. Very lovely srping scent.

I love this candle! The over-all scent throws off winter vibes but the touch of lilac gives it the perfect balance for spring. I don’t really like heavy floral smells, but this one didn’t bother me at all; it’s definitely on the masculine-scented spectrum.

Monster Hunter is amazing. The first aspect I get is the lilac, but that may be my bias toward those beauties. Behind the floral though, is the subtle, but definite note of woody growth. It almost has a sweet smokiness to it without being at all like a campfire. This will definitely be burning in my house after the season has gone for my favorite lilac bush and wet spring hikes.

This candle smells like Christmas without the usual Christmas notes. You could burn this all winter. It's a pine scent with a hint of floral sweetness (I'm guessing the lilac).

Absolutely gorgeous product!!

The candle smells really good, slightly more pine-y than I expected but still good. It didn't burn all the way to the edge when I burned it for the first time even though I made sure to burn it for long enough, so it tunneled down. However, after scraping the sides and burning it again it burns more evenly. It also has a nice throw. Overall it's a great candle despite the small imperfections!

I'm a sucker for outdoorsy scents. This one is deep and cool, with the lilac just strong enough to pique your curiosity without overwhelming the greenery.

I purchase these primarily for the titles and visual aesthetic - love the design and titles; so they are more like visual affirmations for me. The reason being that the fragrance is not strong. Yes, if you put your nose to it, then it's lovely; however, the fragrance does not spread into the room. Perhaps it's the soy base. In any case, that would be a nice addition to a fun and original product, if the fragrance spread further. Thanks!

This candle was sweeter than expected--the lilac really comes through. Mild, but pleasant.
