The Inklings - 4 oz Tin

If I had to pick one scent for fall, it would be this. Dragon's Lair is a close second, but I prefer to burn that one at night and this during the day. It blends well with spice-scented candles, too.

The Inklings is one of my all time faves of Frostbeards candles! I wish it was available all year round as it's full of bookish fall vibes. It reminds me of reading outside with a hot cup of apple cider!

I got this as another gift for my dad (he’s a big fan of the frostbeard candles ever since I got “Oxford library” for him for Father’s Day this year.) as he is a fan of the authors of the actual Inklings and he was thrilled. The candle smells true to the description and gives his office a sweet, cozy smell. He says it turns the office into an Ivy League study! Highly recommend, especially in these autumn months. It really does set the mood!

A great cider first note with oak and tobacco playing second fiddle. I just imagine that I went off to an Ivy League school in the northeast for my first semester and got caught up in the pubs and apple picking instead. I really enjoy this one and like it’s stronger scent filling the room with ease!

This is my favorite of Frostbeard's scents, and I have bought quite a few! It is the perfect companion to an epic fantasy or suspenseful mystery. The smell of cigar & oak is the perfect combination!

When I saw that Frostbeard had themed a candle around my favorite dudes, Lewis and Tolkien and their literary group, I knew immediately I had to get it. Guys, this candle has become my new favorite. It’s not too strong and is the coziest scent- perfect for fall! I need this to become a year round candle so I can keep buying it

I have ordered many candles from Frostbeard Studios in the past and have rarely been disappointed. I knew from the description that this would be my kind of scent. (I think that Heaven should smell like pipe tobacco.). I was unprepared though for how absolutely perfect this candle would be. The scents are blended in just the right proportion: nothing is overdone or too subtle. I will probably be ordering another before the month is over.

This is a beautifully unique scented candle. Every single note comes through on its own while still harmonizing with the rest. I love the smell of old books, aged wood, ink, candles, and parchment paper. This candle gives that with a hint of pub drinking for good measure. It’s not a feminine scent, but it’s a cool one. I use it in my office for studying and inspiration.

This scent was not what I expected - not bad, just a little too sweet for my taste. Still fun to have on my bookshelves; I just won't open it as often as others.

Side note: Let's talk about the customer service - it is excellent. My original order was lost in the mail, and when I emailed about it, they were quick to respond and send a new order. FIve stars for customer service.

This one was new to me, but based on its rankings from others I tried it and am happy I did. It's a great warming smell in my library.

I have purchased this one multiple times as it is a favorite to give as gifts to my teacher and school friends. I keep mine unburned in my great-grandfather's writing desk. When I pull down the lid, the scent is perfect!

This is my favorite scent! Not too strong but not too weak. Smells like a good day at a tavern, with hobbits in attendance.

Great scent, sweet and comforting. The cider, oak, and pipe tobacco mix well and bring to mind a Hobbit Hole for me.

This is one of my favorite Frostbeard scents. It's really well-balanced and has a gentle scent that still fills the room. I always light it in the fall. And I love the name. :)
