This is my least favorite Frostbeard scent. It’s not unpleasant, but I don’t smell anything like a fireplace, cedarwood, or lemon. It’s sweet-smelling, and reminds me of butterscotch.
Bookstore is a pleasant scent. I’ve ordered it twice. The most forward scent is tobacco, imo. There is a hint of leather, kind of like a book, but I don’t catch any ‘mahogany’.
My favorite Frostbeard scent so far. Not to macho; not too frilly; just right.
I appreciate that you all are bold sometimes in your experiments.
This one did not land with me. But please don't stop pushing the envelope. It's the reason I keep coming back.
Again, I think this could be a really great candle if the scent scent were cast a bit more effectively.
I like the smell of the physical candle but when it's lit it doesn't fill the room at all.
I really like this scent a lot. I just seems like the only effective way to experience it is by directly sniffing the candle itself. When lit, it doesn't really fill the room.
Would be 5 stars if it were stronger.

It was love at first sniff with this one - I'm completely obsessed, and I want my house to smell like this all the time now. It's so nostalgic and cozy, they really captured the bookstore scent.
Lovely, complex scents. Some that weren't my favourite at first improved dramatically once burned, and now I want them all full-size. I highly recommend this store!
This is the first candle I've gotten a chance to use while reading and it's just as lovely as I was hoping it would be!

I love the scent of amber, and this candle is wonderful. I'm not entirely sure what Mountain Mist smells like, but I definitely detect the smoke and amber notes. I really enjoy this fragrance..
I have this just sitting open at my desk, not even burning and it smells amazing!!! Love it!
For the money I spent I thought the scents would be more complex, rich. Very disappointing
So sorry the fragrance wasn't what you expected! Since smell is subjective and we realize it's hard ordering candles online we do offer returns and exchanges.
My friend adores this scent. I always request it in bring it back, as I get this for her every year on her birthday. It's become a tradition now!
I'm not a fan of this candle. I love the scent of old paper, but it isn't present in this product. However, the quality is excellent. I wouldn't buy this again.
Warm and sweet, this smell is amazing. The only "problem" is if i am hungry when i smell it, my stomach immediately starts growling. Really reminds me of the scent of an icecream sundae!
We have been starting a garden in our back yard and this smells exactly like our tomato plants! Walking into a room and smelling this candle brings the outdoors and our backyard into our home. It isn't overly strong just a nice, fresh, clean scent. Really glad I decided to try it!
I got this gift for my mother, who loves candles. The timing of the once a month delivery is just right; she always eagerly anticipates and is ready for the next one. Great variety of scents and colors. I just extended her 6 month gift for another year!
I bought three 8oz candles and one small tin. I love all the fragrance however I wish they were a little stronger smelling. I burn the candies for at least 4 hours at a time but they do not melt all the way to the edge so I'm getting a slight tunneling. I was always told a candle needs to burn an hour for each inch, so a candle that is 4" across should be allowed to burn at least 4 hours. These jars are only 21/2" so in 4 hours they should melt to the edge of the jar. It will be interesting to see how many hours of burn time I get from each jar and then I will decide if the cost is worth the value. I do love the fragrance of Bookstore, Sherlock's Study, Wizard Buttery Drink and Darcy's Parlour.

The 2oz tin is meant to be more of a sampler, and won’t have the same scent throw as a larger candle size. Sorry if that wasn’t clear from the description. We use the recommended amount of fragrance oil in our candles, and due to the nature of soy wax they may have a milder scent compared to other wax types.
This candle had literally zero scent. Feel like I was ripped off

I understand why the Oxford Library candle is a favorite of so many folks! The blend of sandlewood, oak, and leather is intoxicating!
I adore the Sassenach scent of basil, lavender, and thyme. Reminds me of a kitchen garden as I walk by and gently stroke the aromatic herbs. Heavenly.
The Old Forest is a wonderful candle reminiscent of a leisurely walk through the woods or a hike in the mountains on an autumn day. The aromas of rosewood, fig, dirt, and spices provide a pleasant ambiance of fresh trees after the rain.
