Murder Express - Wax Melts

You can almost hear the crunch of snow when this scent fills the space.

This is such an enchanting scent. All of the notes are so well balanced. It is very wintry, and mysterious. I was afraid the tobacco would be too strong but it isn’t, and adds a really nice depth to the candle.

Very pine-forward with sweet, tobacco-y notes in the background. A lighter scent than the other candles I've purchased from Frostbeard, and I mean that as a positive. It's also an excellent candle to have burning in the background to complement a steaming cup of black tea? I'm assuming it's something to do with tannins.

I really like this blend. It's stronger than I anticipated (which I'm happy about) and I love how forward the tobacco and wood smells are. It reminds me of pipe tobacco, of which there are certain blends I really enjoy smelling even if I don't smoke myself. This is the first time I've ordered this scent, but it's definitely going to go in the cart whenever it's available.

This candle is definitely on point with the description. You get that frosty winter scent with a nice tobacco in the background. Very nice!

This just arrived and smells so good. The frosty snow, the pine, and a hint of tobacco smoke; will be perfect next winter in my study to help with my “little grey cells” as Hercule Poirot would say.

This is a repeat purchase for me. It smells like a perfect blend of everything listed. The pine is fresh and woody and the tobacco brings a complementary sweetness and tangy time. Not sure how to describe the snow aspect but I feel it does draw everything together to bring a feeling of winter in the woods. Delightful.

Still have not heard back from the company after repeatedly reaching out, unable to burn the candle due to base being shattered, another candle in the order had a crack in the side that I only realized after it burned part way down and leaked. Disappointed.

Enchanting scent that is a comfort smell of crisp clean air and undertones of warmth of tobacco and earthiness.

When you first smell this candle, the snowdrift smell is the first one that you will notice. It is very clean and fresh smelling, much like clean laundry. However, after burning this candle for several hours, the aromas of pine and tobacco became more pronounced. Overall, I really enjoyed the balanced, cozy, wintry aroma of this candle. It is truly a seasonal delight.

The tobacco scent definitely comes through, the others seem more subtle to me. It's pleasant, but I wasn't quite transported to that train, like with some of the other Frostbeard scents.

I was really excited to see this scent show up as I am an avid fan of AC. I loved the candle as soon as I opened the lid. As soon as I started to burn it, I ordered a second candle. The scent is subtle but cozy. The pine is the strongest scent but the tobacco and snow give it a good balance. My house is very open so I love that I can burn the candle in the kitchen and smell it just as strongly when reading on the couch in the living room. I agree with another reviewer that any candle with "tobacco" is a favorite.

I should never have signed up for their emails because the candle of the month always gets me, haha! I couldn't resist this title and the scent did not disappoint. I know it says mild scent but it's pretty strong. I prefer it this way, so I'm glad, but if you prefer something lighter, I'd suggest burning it in a large room or at a distance. It's musky in the best way and has a more direct aroma than some of the others.

This candle is a MOOD, y'all. The pine and tobacco complement each other perfectly. Ideal for a study space, or anywhere you want to lounge and feel cozy. The scent of a snowy forest wafts through an open train car window, mingling with the lingering pipe smoke of a mysterious fellow passenger.

Murder Express smells like an attractive man walked through the train compartment twenty minutes ago. Maybe he left to get a book from his luggage. Maybe he left to murder someone. Anything is possible; it is enough to know that he was there (if you're a detective or someone otherwise interested in the gentle waft of a man's cologne).

I don’t know how you make a candle smell like snow, but it’s definitely the predominant fragrance! The piney notes are lovely too.

Super excited for this one. Scent notes just seem super good. I do think the snowdrift throws it off, HOWEVER, after the first burn, definitely a keeper.

This candle is cozy classic that will make you wonder “who done it”: was it the refreshing pine and snowdrift or the pensive tobacco? They combine to create a studious and clean scent. Hope this scent becomes a regular!

I had no idea what to expect from this candle (snowdrift? tobacco?), but boy do I love it. It isn't overwhelming at all, a subtle wintery fresh scent. Love it.

This is a crisp winter scent. My fiance loves it even more than I do. If he's having a rough day working in his home office, I'll ask him if he needs "The Murder Candle", and in a quiet, almost desperate tone, he'll respond, "Yes, please."

This is a great winter scent. The pine and tobacco mix perfectly! I just wish it was stronger. Definitely a candle to burn in a smaller space, in order to get the full effect.

I thought the tobacco would overpower, but I the crisp pine smell balances it beautifully. I hope it stays on as a seasonal item

This is a delightful and surprising convo. It's clean and bright, but also decidedly wintery, not spring. The pine and tobacco give it expansive notes and the snowdrift lends a bit of scrip sweetness that feels outdoorsy. It would also be a great late-winter early spring scent. Subtle, but nice.
