If there’s One Candle you need by your side when embarking on an epic adventure, it’s Halfling Hills. This fresh blend of earthy, pastoral notes will get you out the door and on the road to fantastical, faraway places.
This one says it has a medium scent but I feel like it's a bit closer to mild. I love the scent of this candle but wish it had a stronger throw. I've only lit it a couple of times though and for some of my Frostbeard candles, the scent gets stronger as I get further into the candle so I'm hoping that's the situation here. I'll update this review should that be the case.
One of a few mainstays in our house.
I have ordered about six or eight different Frostbeard scents over the last year or two. This one and Oxford Library are the only ones I've ordered more than once. Halfling Hills smells a bit like nature without being floral, and there's that note of tobacco alongside it as well. It works perfectly for my reading sessions.
one of my favs
Sweet yet earthy scent, i love this smell in spring when it's still a little cold out. very strong throw.
My Favorite Candle
I love this scent! Its subtle but so comforting. I always re-buy this candle because I love it so much.
Fresh and green, with a hint of mystery
The scene that comes to mind when smelling this candle: sitting by the open window of a hobbit house in the Shire and gazing at the rolling green hills, the spring breeze gently flowing into the room with the scent of fresh grass, with a hint of pipe smoke in the air lending some intrigue to an otherwise idyllic and peaceful moment.
