USE

Trim wick to 1/4" before each use.
Burn no longer than 2-3 hours at a time.
After use, cover with lid to reduce soot.

Elevated and Earthy

Unique scent that is well balanced and definitely evokes an ancient forest. Would certainly buy this again.

Great Late Summer Into Fall Scent

This smells very similar to the forest surrounding my home: Evergreen, yet earthy with a slight sweetness. Redwoods, Douglas Fir, Bay. It is really beautiful and would pair well with Ghoul's Gate or Faerie Door.

Ancient Calm

I love the forest, and this takes me deep into the woods, quiet and green, the earthy sweetness of fig, the stillness of being one with the wisdom of the trees. I only wish it had a stronger throw.

Does not smell

I love this store, and the bookstore candle is my all-time favorite candle. I wanted to try this one since I'm reading LOTR right now. This one just doesn't smell when lit, though. It smells pleasant when you open the lid and sniff before lighting it, but I get nothing when it's lit.

So sorry you're having a hard time smelling the fragrance. We value your feedback so we might need to change this one to a 'mild' scent instead of 'mild/moderate.' If you haven't already, make sure to keep it lit long enough so the entire top is melted and try putting it in a smaller room. Email us if that doesn't help :)
